Essie 'Bikini So Teeny' Nail Polish | Review

Morning folks! Today is my 20th birthday, eeeek. I'm not doing anything crazy, I'm just heading to the cinema with my best friend - it's still early days recovery-wise so I'm taking it slow! I recently purchased a bunch of Essie nail polishes; a brand and product I'm sure most of you know about. They're one of the many things hyped up to the nines in the blogosphere and on Youtube, so I was curious to try some out. Essie nail polishes are around €10 to buy in stores here, so I wasn't in too much of a rush to try them any time son. I picked up four Essie nail polishes however, on Fragrance Direct for a mere £1.99 so I was over the moon!
My verdict? Pleasantly surprised. The first polish that caught my eye and the first polish I tried from my haul, was this gorgeous lavender-blue shade called 'Bikini So Teeny'. It was opaque after two coats, but I applied three coats for ultimate colour-pop. The brush is gorgeous; a nice width and easy to use. The packaging is pretty and simple - a trait that attracts most Essie customers no doubt. The polish took a while to dry, and I applied a top coat after 20 minutes.
The photos above were taken three days after application, believe it or not. Nail polishes are notorious for chipping on me, so this was a massive plus in my books. Three coats survived two showers, constant hand gel applying, typing on the computer etc. There's only very minimal wear off the very tops of the nails, which is barely visible. I'm really impressed with 'Bikini So Teeny', I'm hoping the other polishes I bought are just as impressive! Are they worth a tenner? I'm not too sure yet - I rarely spend over a fiver on nail polishes! Grab some bottles while you can on Fragrance Direct, they're flying out the door!
