Over the weekend, I was invited one of Ireland's most popular music and arts festivals by TK Maxx; they challenged me to find the best #MeByMe festival street style on the Friday and to snap photos of my ultimate favourite outfits (before my phone inevitably died)! The #MeByMe campaign "aims to champion individuality and personal style" and encourages people to share their outfits online by using the tag.
There were many styles over the weekend that were unique to each person and the effort in which some people put into their overall festival looks was admirable; between all-black ensembles, flower crowns, tie-dye flares and vintage dungarees, the festival was a perfect example of how stylish the creative folk of Ireland really are.
TK Maxx have a gigantic variety of clothing styles to suit anyone, of any age, of any style - their newest store just recently opened up in the Ilac Centre on Henry Street, Dublin - check it out if you have the chance and look out for some hidden gems to wear this Summer at a festival, the beach or a garden party alike. Showcase your festival fashion style on Twitter and Instagram by tagging your photos with #MeByMe - I'll RT my favourites!
I have to say, Body & Soul itself was by far the greatest festivals I've ever attended; full of art, magic and an amazing gathering of people. It was honestly like stepping into a fairytale realm. The food and drink were a huge surprise for me (I had fresh smoothies and pasta almost everyday - not greasy chips) and the overall atmosphere was so positive and energetic. Between dancing at 1am in a forest and having my face painted with beautiful flowers daily, it was a delightful experience altogether. I'll be going back next year, without a doubt!
