Cape - Zara (Dark Collection - still in stores)
T-Shirt - Topman
Harem Pants - Zara (A/W '13)

It seems that there is a big trend in ladies' style at the moment; the all black “witch” look, no doubt inspired by American Horror Story: Coven and the likes. It also seems to be filtering into menswear, one high street store in particular, however, have nailed it for the guys - Zara!
Zara has become the go to for many men looking for black statement pieces - from leather jackets, to tracksuit bottoms, to turtle necks jumpers. The Dark Collection for Zara is a perfect example; it’s a perfect mixture of classic and grunge and you can see this in how they style it for the lookbook - blazers with ripped jeans, biker jackets with knitwear etc.
For this look, I styled the Dark Collection cape with a pair of harem pants from their Soft Wear which was available in October. I love the way the pieces flow together and they’re extremely comfortable to wear (although I do wear long johns under the pants because they’re not very thick and I didn’t want to lose feeling in my legs)! I wore these with a leopard-print pocket t-Shirt from Topman and Vegan 1460 Docs to incorporate both the grunge and comfort elements.
My other favourites from the Dark Collection are the ripped skinny jeans, the faux leather backpack and the knitted snood jumper. If you are shopping menswear in Zara, my advice is that you try everything on in two sizes because their fits can be quite hit and miss (especially if you’re on the shorter side, as I’ve been advised). Definitely check out their sales, they’re usually very good and reasonably priced and if you're lucky you'll snap up a bargain half of the original price.

How are you styling black this season? Picked up anything recently on the high street?
