Hi everyone! Sorry things have been quite slow on the blog front lately; as many of you know, I'm moving to London next week and it's pretty hectic at the moment. It has been a dream of mine from a very young age to move and I finally decided to just go for it - no doubt it will light a spark in me, like London always does. Ever since my operation in March, I haven't felt 100% in tune with my blog and websites - I've truthfully been lacking in motivation and inspiration. Blogging has become a very different ball game and it's difficult to try and stand out amongst a sea of big fish. Winning OOH LA LA Magazine's 'Blogger of the Year' and 'Best Vlogger' awards have really given me the first kick I need to spread my wings a little more with my creativity. There's many exciting things coming up for the last few months of 2013 that I'm dying to share with you all - it has been a life-changing year (so far), to say the least.
Moving away and the whole process that goes with it has really taught me some valuable life lessons; particularly not to take my family for granted. I was recently contacted by John Lewis to discuss something that matters most to me on here and thought this little life update ramble but would be ideal; I've been pondering on it all day; no doubt it is my family and friends. Such a cliché answer, but it's true! Everyone from my Nana and my best friend Sarah have encouraged me 100% for the big move and every decision I make in life - regardless of how daunting it is. The thought of moving away from all of them bloody terrifies me but I know it's the right thing to do - and besides, I'll only be across the pond..
John Lewis are currently running a Vine competition using the hashtag #WhatMattersMost; you simply upload a Vine video showing the world what matters to you the most (your Nan, your favourite pair of shoes, your pet etc) and tweet John Lewis the Vine video. The competition ends this Sunday - you can win a £1000 John Lewis voucher and a Canon SLR. Not bad right? Give it a go and let me know what you chose to feature in your video!
