Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Powder // Moschino S/S '13 cotton-blend dress // River Island polka-dot dungarees // Petals and Peacocks 'Hell Magazine' t-shirt // Zara Office City bag // The Munsters DVD boxset // Real Techniques powder brush //
Hello everyone! I thought it was about time I posted another Wishlist, especially with my birthday coming up next Thursday. Whilst recovering from surgery, I've spent the days browsing online and flicking through various websites planning my Summer wardrobe. I'm veering towards the monochrome trend, as you can see from above; it's so versatile and rarely isn't in style in some shape or form.
I refuse to cake myself in layers upon layers of makeup this Summer, like I usually do out of pure habit. I want to let skin breathe! The Chanel Glow Sheer Powder from their new Les Beiges line caught my eye immediately, when I first started reading reviews on it. In the past, I've wasted many a euro on too-dark Chanel foundations so I'm hoping the lightest shade in the powder selection is light enough for me. The packaging also plays a big part in my need for it, as it's simply stunning and chic. The perfect compact to whip out of your bag to touch-up! I've wanted a pair of polka-dot dungarees for months on end now; I have a ton of outfits planned around a pair, but alas I don't even own any yet. This pair from River Island look ideal and versatile. Something I'd have forever, and could mix up between seasons.
I first spotted this Petals & Peacocks 'Hell Magazine' t-shirt over on The Style Playlist's Instagram a while back. I fell in love with it instantly, I'm determined to buy it over the next week or two. I'm sure a bunch of you have heard many a Youtuber or blogger talk about Zara's latest must-have; the Office City bag. A neat and relatively simple handbag, with a range of various compartments inside for your iPad, Kindle, college notebooks etc. It's an ideal bag to have if you're like me and carry half of your bedroom with you wherever you go. It also comes with a detachable shoulder strap, which is always a bonus. I definitely plan on snapping this up with my birthday money!
My unrealistic item of the month is this stunning appliquéd monochrome dress from Moschino; my favourite brand, one of my favourite collections of theirs and one of my favourite pieces from it. For a staggering €1,422 I won't be getting it anytime soon but a girl can dream! I'm sure most of you are aware of my love for all things spooky, retro and horrorlicious. The Munsters was a tv show from the 1960s, and I've watched every episode on good oul Youtube over the last few years. I adore it - it's cheesy and Lily Munster became a style icon for me instantly. I'm still quite old-school when it comes to films and tv shows, and like to own them on DVD if I stick with watching them. My final wishlist item is a powder brush from Real Techniques. I own a bunch of Real Techniques brushes, I adore them! They're such good quality for such affordable prices. I own nearly 90 (I know, I know) makeup brushes, but don't like any of the current powder brushes I have. All of them seem to shed on me, regardless of their brand or age. I want to pick this one up asap, as I've heard fantastic things about it.
What's on your wishlist this month? Anything you have your eye on?
