Sleek Face Contour Kit in 'Light' | Review

(Excuse the slightly yellowish tinge to the photo. The more true to life shade of the bronzer, is the darker left-hand side of the pan.)
One of my favourite makeup purchases of 2012 has to be Sleek's ever-so famous Face Contour Kit. I picked up the 'Light' shade when I was in Superdrug, in London a few months back. I was apprehensive about using it initially because I'm so pale; most contour powders/ bronzers look terrible on me. However, I was pleasantly surprised with this kit! The palette comes with a beautiful matte brown contour powder and pearlescent highlight powder. The contour powder looks scarily dark in the pan at first, but it looks better once applied and blended on to the skin. After around 4 months of using the palette, it's safe to say I'm absolutely head over heels for it. The difference a little contouring makes is unbelievable! The contour powder is pigmented, and I apply only the tiniest bit to my face. It doesn't look too orangey or dark on my skintone, and defines my features flawlessly - I apply it to my cheekbones, temples, jawline and sometimes down the sides of my nose. It's also great to blend into the crease of the eye for further dimension, when wearing darker, smokey eyeshadow shades.
I'm a highlighter addict, so it's no surprise to me that I absolutely adored the highlighter in the palette after my first use. It's pigmented, not chalky in the slightest and gives such a healthy glow to the skin once applied. I apply highlighter quite liberally, and find this stays on throughout the day and doesn't budge. I apply it to the high points of my cheekbones, the arches of my eyebrows, my cupid's bow and on the inner corners of my eyes. Likewise to the contour powder, I sometimes buff a swipe of the highlighter over my eyelids if I want to brighten up the area and look more awake.
Sleek makeup isn't readily available in Ireland unfortunately, but you can buy it online at Cloud 10 Beauty. For €9.95, it's safe to say that this is one of the greatest affordable products on the market - if not the best contour kit available out there. I highly recommend giving it a go, as only after trying this out did I realise how much contouring can change the face.

What's your favourite contour kit, have you tried this one before?
