Image Skincare - Review

Morning all! Now as some of you may know, I'm a bit of a product junkie. Well, I'm actually a massive product junkie! One of the areas of products I find myself delving into constantly, is skincare. I'm obsessed with it. I'm obsessed with going on the hunt for the perfect skin solution! My skin isn't the worst, yet it is far from the best. It's oily - combination, slightly irritable and can go from being in great to horrendous condition in a matter of days. I always have a least one or two blemishes, and I'm always searching for the best blemish fighting (and preventing) products the market has to offer. I was sent out a bunch of skincare products from a USA brand called Image Skincare, from the lovely people over a I was excited to give these a go, and I wasn't disappointed in the slightest. (Image Skincare don't test on animals, their products contain no petrochemicals, parabens or chemical preservatives.)

Ordemic Balancing Facial Cleanser: I really enjoyed using this cleanser, but to be honest it wasn't outstanding! It was nice to use if I had been wearing no makeup, to give my skin a thorough and gentle cleansing. However, I found it a tad tricky and messy to remove a full face of makeup using it. The cleanser contains green tea and chamomile, which sooth it and calm any irritations on your face. It leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated, but you would need to use it at least twice to remove any heavy makeup from your face.

Ormedic Balancing Bio-Peptide Creme: I absolutely adore this night cream, I use it every night and it was one of my favourite products. You only need a small blob of it to massage into your face. It hydrates, without leaving your skin feeling oily. It contains Japanese green tea, mango and grape seed, which all make it smell deeelish! The tub of it is massive, so I see myself using this for at least another year.

Ormedic Lip Enhancement Complex: This lip product was another product I really enjoyed trying out. It has a lip gloss texture, and claims to "diminish fine line and enhance the appearance of lip contours". Whilst I didn't find it enhanced my lips in any huge way, it definitely did a fantastic job at hydrating them. I'm not a fan of lip gloss textures, so I'd usually apply this before bed and then wake up with super-moisturised lips. My favourite thing about this product is its smell, it is DELICIOUS. I've been tempted to eat it. Honestly.

Daily Defense Universal Moisturiser: This moisturiser was by far my number one product from the bunch. It's a gorgeous lightweight moisturiser, offering a fantastic SPF of 30 (something I always look out for). It sinks immediately into the skin, and can be worn under makeup. There's not much to elaborate on, as it does what it says on the tin! It moisturises, offers sun protection and smells just as nice as the other products. I love it!

Vital C Hydrating Anti-Aging Serum: I gave this product to my Nana to try and test out for me. I haven't heard the end of her praises for this serum, she adores it! She applies it daily, and loves the texture and smell of it. It hydrates beautifully, whilst also brightening the overall complexion. I used this myself one day, and found it so gorgeous - it glides on to the skin and again, smells divine!

Overall, I was really pleased with Image skincare. I felt reassured knowing I was applying cruelty-free and natural products to my skin. My skin has been all over the place this Summer due to stress (and junk food shhh). It was in great condition from June to July, and then it erupted in August with a heap of blemishes and irritations. I'm still trying to tackle some blemishes, so I'm testing out a heap of products here and there to find the ones best suited for me. I discovered some fantastic products through trying the Image Skincare line, and I know I'll be purchasing at least two or three of them again in the future!
