The Body Shop - Moringa Beautifying Oil // Review
Morning lovelies, I hope you're all having a fab Bank Holiday Monday! I thought I'd get into the swing of things this week, by posting up an exciting review for you all. I recently received this Moringa Beautifying Oil at a Body Shop event a few weeks ago. It's been getting a ton of buzz around the beauty world as of late, and I was dying to try it out for myself. The oil is around €15/ £9, and you receive 100ml of product which I think is fantastic - a little goes a long way with this oil, so I assume it'll last me for at least a few months. It has a beautiful light floral scent to it, which does linger on the skin for quite a while after application. The product contains nut oils, including the Community Fair Trade marula oil (this has fantastic anti-aging properties).
The oil can be used on the body, face and hair - it's a fantastic all-rounder for beauty nerds and people on the go. I've experimented with it over the last few weeks, and have found myself using it constantly as a waterproof mascara remover! It works wonders for removing stubborn waterproof mascara in an instant (The Falsies, I'm looking at you). I pour a teensy bit out onto a cotton pad, and gently swipe it over my lashes. It breaks the product down quickly, and also conditions my lashes which is an extra bonus! The oil is also fantastic to tame any split ends or fly-away hairs; I prefer to use my John Freida serum, but if I can't find it this oil is my go-to tamer! (Keep the oil away from the roots of your hair however, as it can make it look greasy.) I have combination-oily skin, so I haven't used it on my face at all apart from removing the waterproof mascara. Most oils would break me out if used on my face, so I won't be trying it there anytime soon. It's lovely applied on the body, very moisturising but as it's an oil it takes a little longer to sink in than body lotions and such. I'd highly recommend using this as soon as you get out of the shower/ bath, it lasts longer and moisturises your skin even more.
I'd definitely recommend this product, and if you don't like this particular scent there's a ton of others to chose from such as Coconut, Shea, Strawberry, Mango and many more! I like how you can use this oil multiple ways, as it feels you get your value for money.
