Mini Beauty Haul

One of my worst habits, is buying beauty products constantly! The minute I see 'special offer', '3 for 2' etc, my mind goes into 'SPEND IT ALL!' mode. Money literally burns a whole in my pocket when it comes to beauty products, it's terrible. I was given €20 last week, and had every penny spent within an hour. Mind you, I did buy some great new products that I'm dying to try out.
I picked up 3 items from Essence, 2 of them being from their new limited edition 'Circus' collection. I bought the red liquid lipstick and a gold cream eyeshadow. I've read a ton of reviews on the translucent loose powder of theirs also, so I picked it up to have a go of it. As always, all of the products were under €4 each. You really can't go wrong with Essence.
With my remaining €10 or so, I ventured into the beauty aisles of Tesco whilst my Nana did some food shopping. I'm really into exfoliating lately, so I've been trying and testing out a heap of them to review for you guys. When I saw this Tesco brand Cucumber scrub, for only 99c, I just had to buy it! I think the packaging is cute and it smells gorgeous, really similar to the Boots brand Cucumber products.
My hair is driving me nuts lately, I'm really indecisive about its style - whether or not to keep my full fringe, or to grow it out (what do you guys think?). It's so fine and flat, and last year I lost patience with it, when it came to styling. One of my resolutions this year however, was to put more effort into my hair. These two hair products caught my eye also in Tesco: the Vo5 Give Me Texture volumising powder and L'Oreal's Elvive volumising mousse. I've heard a ton of things about the powder, and there seems to be a big hype surrounding them at the mo. I'm dying to try both out, and see if they add some 'oomph' to my flat gruaige!

If you want a review on any of the products above, let me know!
Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?

  5. Really want to try the Vo5 texture dust, see if its better than some of the other ones out there.

As for the fringe dilemma you really suit your hair in all styles (lucky) your fringe looks really edgy though.

And I would keep the fringe, for a while at least. It really suits you. I could never pull it off :(

  8. The fringe really suits you so keep that for a while or push it to the side a little. My hair is exactly the same! Flat and very fine :( If you want volume you'll need to either back comb or use heat products. Back comb the hair at the roots of your crown then lightly dust the powder and rub it in. Spray some Elnett onto the roots too for extra hold. Orrr you could use the Babyliss root boost crimper instead. I bought them online last night so I'll let you know how they work out for me! :)
