COVERGIRL Professional Loose Powder - Review

Happy Friday guys, I thought I'd finish up this week's posts with a product review. I've been dying to tell you guys all about this product, as it's truly become a favourite of mine! A few months ago, I did a makeup swap with Sam, a lovely girl from the USA. She sent me over amazing American products, including this COVERGIRL professional loose powder. Ever since I received this product, I've used it as part of my daily makeup routine.
It was the first loose powder I'd use on myself. I used loose powders before, during my makeup course in the Summer, and I was dying to get hold of one for myself. Finding one the right shade for me was difficult of course, and I was thrilled when Sam included this in the package! I never tried COVERGIRL cosmetics before, and this powder has certainly made me keen on trying more. I always hear about the brand on tv, in magazines, on the internet.. I wish they stocked it here in Europe!
Sam sent me the 'translucent fair' shade, and it matches perfectly with my beloved Revlon ColorStay foundation. I apply it using a MUFE double-sided powder puff, as it gives a completely flawless finish and helps keep my makeup in place for longer, in comparison to using a brush. It gives a slight satin finish to the skin; it's more-or-less matte, but there are teeny-tiny flecks of shimmer in it - which I love! I adore a matte finish, but this gives you a matte finish, with a glow! It leaves my skin feeling so silky and soft, and it really does help keep my makeup in place. I only need to touch up my T-zone once or twice a day! It doesn't add any colour to the face, which I like - it just adds that extra glow, and perfect finish to the overall look.
I use this every single day, and it has lasted me months! I still have a lot left of it, but I'll be really sad when it's all used up. I'm going on the hunt for more loose powders, for us pale-skinned gals soon - if anybody has any recommendations, do comment below letting me know!

What's your favourite loose powder? Have you ever tried this one?
