Benefit 'High Beam' Highlighter - Review
Benefit's 'High Beam' highlighter, was definitely one of my best makeup purchases of 2011. Unfortunately, I only caved in and bought it in December. It's €26, but I got it for €23, as Clery's were having 10% off customer day. I've used Benefit's 'BeneTint' and 'ChaChaTint' before, so I know how long this 13ml bottle will last me. You only need a small dab of the product, as a little goes a long way.
Before using High Beam, I'd use ELF's 'Gotta Glow' powder highlighter, I was dying to try High Beam for aaages though - I've developed a big love for cream products lately. They last longer, and give a much healthier and "real" look to the skin.
The applicator is a small brush attached to the lid, but I usually apply it with my fingers. It's more hygienic and easier to blend. I apply High Beam onto my upper cheekbones, inner tear-duct areas, browbones and on my cupid's bow (the crease on your upper lip - it gives the illusion of big, fuller lips).
It lasts all day, and since I've been wearing it a ton of people have complimented me on me "glowing" appearance. I've been wearing it daily since I bought it, and I really wish I had of bought it sooner!
I highly recommend this product, as it'll last you 1-2 years, it works on most skintones and it is overall a fantastic everyday product. It is 100% worth the €26.
