Style Planet: 'Because I Am A Girl' Event
Last Wednesday, I attended a gorgeous charity-fashion event in The Sugar Club. 'Because I Am A Girl - 'We Care & Connect' is "a global movement which speaks up against the silent emergency of gender inequality in the developing world", run by Plan.ie. The event was sponsored by Nivea, and many interesting events went on during the night. Top stylist Angela Stylist presented the event, Re-dress customised pieces of clothing live, DJs Dandelion and Mo Kelly blasted out some tunes, fashion designers such as Kellie Dalton and Constance Harris, answered the audience's fashion questions and gave out tips and tricks to all.

To raise money for the cause, an auction with a difference took place! Famous Irish designers, presents, musicians and more, designed their own 'Because I Am A Girl' t-shirts, and they were put on auction to the public.

Kaleidoscope bakery provided the guests with delicious cookie-lollipops, and Nivea kindly gave us each an amazing goodie bag! They each contained a full-size cleanser, creme pot, deodrant and a 'Because I Am Girl' charity bracelet - amazing.
It was a fantastic night overall, and I hope they raised a ton of money for the campaign!
