Smokey Autumn Eyes - Sleek PPQ Palette
I was delighted when I received my new Sleek PPQ iDivine palette 'Me, Myself & Eye' (review coming up soon!) the other day. Yesterday was the first time I was properly out in two weeks, due to my operation. I was meeting up with my friends to go to for a meal and the cinema, afterwards I was heading out to a club. Makeup wise, I wanted something that would be suitable for day and night, and something inspired by Autumn and Halloween.
I created a deep purple and rusty orange smokey eye, using my new Sleek palette and my Urban Decay NAKED palette. I was delighted with how it turned out, and if you guys want a video tutorial on it.. comment below!
(PPQ - Sleek palette, NP - NAKED palette)
Inner corner: NP - 'Half Backed' & PPQ 'Golden Silvers'
Middle lid: PPQ 'Supernova'
Outer corner: PPQ 'Chris De Burgundy'
Lower lashline: NP 'Half Baked' & PPQ 'Chis De Burgundy'
Prior to applying my eyeshadow, I primed my eyelids with Urban Decay's Primer Potion (original). I applied my typical pin-up eyeliner wing, using Essence's old-applicator liquid eyeliner. I applied Urban Decay's 24/7 eyeliner pencil in 'Zero' on my lower waterliner and I smudged it into my outer corner lower lashes. I wore my favourite Maybelline The Falsies mascara also.
Here's also a picture of me, taken yesterday. The swelling from my operation is completely gone, and my bruises are fading.. thank god! I resembled a guinea-pig last week and my cheeks were huuuge and puffy! Considering I only had the operation last week, I think my face has gone back to normal (I hope).
Due to my operation, my blog posts have been a bit scattered. Expect more blog posts and videos up this week, and thank you for all of your best wishes during recovery.
