Jeremy Scott was my favourite collection from NYFW overall, but the other 3 that stood out for me most are Probal Gurung, Betsey Johnson (as always!) and Oscar de la Renta. 3 completely different but amazing collections.
Prabal Gurung's is probably my second favourite collection, after Jeremy Scott's. He's an absolute genius and will only become bigger and bigger in the fashion world. He's so innovative with his designs, and I predict all the major high-street shops will be duplicating these dresses for next Spring. The designs are so fresh and feminine, yet futuristic and statement-making.. I adore (and want) them all!
Betsey Johnson is always a favourite of mine, like Jeremy Scott - she's always fun! She never follows trends and she completely goes her own way with her designs. I think I prefer her A/W collection to this one, but it still is flamboyant and full of energy and life!
Oscar de la Renta is up there with my 'If I'm ever on the red carpet' designers. His collections are always so stunningly beautiful and elegant, there's always an essence of Hollywood glamour through each piece. The colours used in this collection were so stunning and they contrasted beautifully with the delicate lace gowns.
Overall, NYFW looked amazing and showcased some wonderful and exciting collections to look forward too for next year, but London's always the big one for me - expect some serious LFW posts when it's over!
