28th November.

I picked up a few bits and bobs in town yesterday, the snow and cold won in the end and I went home early but I picked up a fair few bits shopping!
I went to the new Forever 21 store that opened up in Jervis. To be honest, I wasn't overly amazed. I loved their accessories and pyjamas, but the clothes themselves were too plain and practical for me, nothing I haven't seen before!
I picked up a hairbow and a pair of crucifix earrings, that I love!
People always ask where I buy my band merch, my Clash, Ramones, Sex Pistols tops etc. I buy it all in a small shop across the Ha'Penny bridge called 'Ka-Ot-Ik. I know the chap who owns it well now, and he always puts away Clash merch he knows I'll love haha. So I got this jumper yesterday, I love it.
As you all know, I adore Lush. I am obsessed with their products, I bought a Charity Pot (sample size) and a Snow Fairy shower and hair gel. Snow Fairy is so popular, and only limited to the Christmas season so I'm going to stock up! It smells unreal.. candyfloss, strawberry, sweets, sugar.. everything sweet!
I went a bit crazy on Ebay the other day, I sold most of my stuff so I bought a good few things. 2 Pout make-up bags full of make-up, a Joe Strummer top, a Topshop floral dress (pictured below) and more! I really recommend shopping on Ebay guys, it's cheaper and also handy for Christmas!
The snow has taken over Dublin and most of Ireland this weekend, and it's here to stick until Thursday. I've never been a snow person, it looks nice when I'm cosy and indoors but I hate being in it. Do you any of you guys have snow?

Christmas 2010.

Christmas is exactly a month away now, and to be honest, I'm quite excited! Sadly enough, I was never a Christmas person, well for the last 7-8 years anyway. I found out Santa wasn't real around the age of 10/11, I was told off a friend, who also decided to ruin for our whole class by telling them. I was devastated, absolutely in shock and I genuinely couldn't believe it. After that, Christmas never felt the same for me again. I envy my little sisters on Christmas, trying so hard to go to sleep on Christmas Eve, yet so eager to try and hear the sleigh bells! Getting up at the crack of dawn, charging down the stairs and finding all of your gifts from Santa. I don't think that moment will ever leave someone, that happiness. Possibly the happiest you could ever feel.
Back to the point, I started to sort of, not bother with Christmas then. I became a sort of Scrooge with it and only looked forward to Halloween (which is still my favourite holiday) each year. Mum, even up to last year, had to wake ME up to go and get my presents. I suppose the excitement just isn't there anymore, maybe some sort of excitement but nothing could equal the Santa excitement. I have always enjoyed spending time with my family (or families) on Christmas. Seeing my Dad's side, my Mom's side and my Stepmom's side, it's hectic!
I've matured so much this year, I really have. I notice the difference between me and my younger friends more, when it comes to school, careers etc. So it's made me more excited for Christmas, not even for the presents but just spending time with my family. Unfortunately, I won't be spending it with my Nana and Grandad as she'll be in Portlaoise for it, but most of my family I'll see. I was in town (the city centre) the other day, and the Christmas lights are up all over the place. It looks amazing, and go nice with the freezing weather we're having at the moment.. very festive!
It's tough times in Ireland at the moment, we're going through a complete Recession breakdown. The 4 Year Plan was revealed to us earlier today, and it hits us students extremely bad. As you all know, I'm moving to London next Summer but over there they could be highering university fees up to £9,000.. which is scanadalous! Fingers crossed for me anyways, I hope I win the lotto haha! I'm not expected my family to go all out and buy everyone expensive gifts this year obviously, I'll be happy if I even get a gift of all family members. I won't expect to because you have to be aware of the tough times ahead.
My parents are split up, so I've always received 2 main presents on Christmas - one from my Mom and her partner James and one from my Dad and Emer, my Stepmom. This year off my Mom and James, I'm getting a Sigma make-up brush roll. Sigma make-up brushes are popular all over the world, they're basically as good or even better, than MAC make-up brushes. They are all handmade and are a fraction of the price would pay for MAC! The roll I'm getting is $149.00 and that's a bargain for the quality of the brushes and roll you receive, I can't wait to get it. I'll be doing a ton more make-up tutorials for you guys once I get these brushes.

Off my Dad and Emer,  I'm getting another tattoo hopefully, which I'm keeping a surprise for you! it's dedicated to my Grandparents and will be on the inside of my lower left arm, above my other tattoos. I also want get Lush goodies, particularly the 'Snow Fairy' gift set and I shall be picking up about 5 Snow Fairy shower gels myself, as they're only limited edition at Christmas time and they are amazing!
That's all I've asked for really, I'll probably get a few surprises here and there but I don't expect anything more and I'm really excited about these gifts! I'll do a blog post and video showing you guys what I got and stuff, so you'll see!
What are you guys getting for Christmas and what are your plans?

Aiden Grimshaw Voted Off the XFactor?

I will keep this short and simple... WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!?
Never watching that show AGAIN!
I find it all very dodgy indeed, it went to deadlock and the decision was then based on the public vote. Already, the public outcry about Aiden being booted off is obvious that he received more votes and is more liked than Katie. When the Xfactor Youtube videos were uploaded less than half an hour ago, the ratings also show us that the public do not agree with this, at all. I liked Katie, I thought she was different but in comparison to Aiden? Ridiculous! No, I don't just like him because he's attractive, I really adore his voice and I would honestly buy his music. I voted for him every weekend and I know a ton of my friends did as well. I posted numerous statuses on Facebook giving out about it, and I got so many 'likes' and comments agreeing with me. I don't see how any of this makes sense! How the hell could the judges of just sat there, being fully aware of Aiden's better talent and public likability and still let it get to dead lock? Katie was in the final 2 for the last month, if this show was about the public's opinion, Simon should of considered that for the sake of his show. Viewer ratings will go down hugely next Saturday, the fact Wagner is still in, is insulting to the other contestants and stupid to be honest. Katie will yet again be in the bottom 2 and this show can basically be predicted by all of us and what the outcomes shall be.
After 10 minutes of the result video being up, the ratings were huge in disagreement! See for yourselves, I find it atrocious...
I refuse to watch the Xfactor now, I'm extremely skeptical of it. I hope One Direction, Mary and Rebecca do well and I'll watch their performances online. I refuse to give the show another viewer count after this.
At least we can all be happy about the fact Aiden already has a huuuge fanbase and will most likely be signed up to a label rather soon, and do better than most of the remaining contestants!
Do you guys think it all seems a bit dodgy or do you think it was the right decision?

Melissa & Vivienne Westwood.

I won't be able to live happily until I own a pair of these, I shall trawl the shops in the Christmas sales..

Lanvin for H&M.

November 23rd shall be the day that Irish fashionistas flee to H&M, to get a piece of Lanvin! The fabulous collaboration will most certainly sell out within a matter of days throughout the country, despite the current economic disaster. Shoppers will be more savvy and aware of what their buying nowadays and this Lanvin collection will guarantee a gorgeous Christmas outfit. Beauty products, shoes, accessories, dresses and more, this collection has something for everyone! Prices stirred a bit of controversy when the euro and pounds were compared, with the Irish euro prices being considerably higher (30c) than the pounds when converted. Nevertheless, I have my eyes on the cute lipstick, I adore the packaging..
Will you guys be investing in any of the collection?
